So Levene and Richard H. discussing training/different techniques on this forum are of no use? And you should not answer anything (or share your own experiences) about these subjects IF somebody should ask?

Recoil

Guest! I think parts of your problem are in the question. I think it’s better to think (or have a mental attitude) that you should “thrust” the recoil rather than controlling it. When you want to control the recoil it’s much easier for your subconsciouness to steer/correct the recoil in its travel a...

Tycho! Here in Scandinavia Sako parts are still available, but I understand it's been a problem for years elsewhere in the world. Its beefy rubberbuffer I think is much better than the tiny nylon piece on some other pistols. To the .38 vs .32 the differences in precision dident help me at all. Some ...

I would also throw in the Sako Triace on your list Tycho. I consider it a bit stronger than the GSP.

Agner

Hello Skoda! The Agner was featured in september/october 1984 issue of American Handgunner. The pistol was priced at 1195,-usd from Beeman at this time, must be about the same price leageu as the Hämmerli 208. It's also written at the end of the article that soon they will offer it in .32 S&W lo...

Tycho! Alifrenkos gun you describe as homemade, is this a .22 version of the MTS 440 (7.62x??) centerfirepistol ?, I think it looks mutch the same. I just guess.............. it's difficult to find information about this guns. About the HRB76 can this name simply be from the patentdate(14.09.76) on ...

Yes Pär, this test would be interesting reading. We are not spoiled with serious tests (or articles) about these kind of competition guns.

JP! After the the Walther Expert came to the market I listen about a test in Sweden. It was done by topshooters and the recoilsystem was tested in and out of function, as this was a "blind" test it was said that none of the shooters could detect any difference in the recoil/feel. Maybe som...

Here is some more info. about the Tesro's damping system. http://www.tesro.de/dl/rds.pdf This pendulum system will move the mass vertical and not in the length direction of the gun (as Pardini, Walther Expert........) Maybe it,s better ??? Anyhow I think a damping system with help of springs and a m...

David M ! Dikeg used a Hämmerli 280. Nestruev scored 298 on the precision event With a TOZ revolver, so the "tools" can be rather different. I also send some pictures from the actual range. It's from 26/6 on the Team mil. RF event. http://i4.tinypic.com/16hsuh5.jpg http://i3.tinypic.com/16...

I think it's the same Levene, but on the team event they use the three best results of four shooters instead of 3/3.

Mike ! I had the same problem last week. I used a torx bits and hammered it cearfully (with a light hammer) to the bottom of the hexscrew. If this will slip, the screw must be seated extreemly hard. Now I'am at work, but when I'am at home again I can see the size of torx i used. I used a torx of goo...

.32 S&W Long

For CF event (in my Pardini HP) I use 98grs. Lapua or H&N HBWC(.314), 1.5-1.6grs. VV310, Remington primers and just a minor tapered crimp. When I shoot military rapidfire (it's also a national program here) I use 83grs. Lapua/H&N HBWC and 1.4-1.5grs. VV310 for lesser recoil. I think I have g...

Thank you for your information Neil ! I will now adjust my trigger again (without any worries). I have never put my hands on a Rink grip, but I could like to have one for my Hämmerli 150 FP. Sadly the Rink grips has not been promoted very well (if at all) here in Norway, even if a dealer are listed ...
