I think there should be a prize for the person with the most x during qualifying, and there should be a prize for the person with the most 10.9 during the finals. There should be an award for the open winner of the so called "qualifying" round, the "Finals" are almost like a sec...

Just buy RWS Basic or Hobby (whichever is cheapest). It'll be MORE than good enough, and the light weight will get you slightly cleaner target holes. Don't think for a second that you can buy points. Wasn’t trying to “buy points” just asked what is the difference between using a 4.50 versus 4.49 mm...

Question for 10m Air Pistol

My son (age 16) wants to start shooting; I picked up an IZH-46M for him to start with. My question is looking at a catalog, I notice the sizes of the pellets offered are 4.49mm and 4.50mm. Which is better to feed the animal and why the difference?

Thanks,
Tim

How far is Harwood, MD from you?

If close enough to your location, you might try the Twelfth Precinct
Pistol and Archery Club

http://www.twelfthprecinct.org/AirPistolMatches.htm

Maybe you could "network" the match to find other local matches?

Should I use the “RWS R10 Match .177 Cal, 7.0 Grains” or the “RWS R10 Match Heavy .177 Cal, 8.2 Grains”? Am I correct in assuming that staying with a ‘wadcutter’ would be best for shooting paper? I remember back in the early 1980s when I was shooting PPC, the .38 wadcutters cut a neat crisp hole in ...

Qustion on IZH 46M

Is the IZH 46M a decent starter air pistol for 10m matches?

If so, what is best for “feeding” it? Qustion is for both practice and matches?

Thanks,
