IZH-46M trigger adjustment

Gwhite, Thanks for your answer. I try to use a 6 o'clock hold but sometimes that turns into a sub-6 hold! I'll concentrate on maintaining the same grip pressure tonight as I DF and shoot 30 pellets. Chris, Thanks for the adjustment advice. I will try technique #1 and make small changes tonight durin...

Air pistol match, Columbus, OH

Dan,

Reading old postings and saw your announcement. Are there any other air pistol matches like this planned for Jan or Feb of 2014? I'm in the Dayton area and would be interested in attending.

Thanks for your time,

JP

IZH-46M tripper adjustment

I have the trigger assembly drawing but is there an explanation of how and/or why the various screws are adjusted? I have not changed the setting for the weight of the trigger.

Also, what does it say when I string my shots vertically? Thanks for your answers.

Seamaster and Shaky Hands,

Thanks for the input. I'll read (and re-read and re-re-read) the 2 attachments over the next weekend to see what I can absorb!

Thanks for your help.

The mental game

Off to the basement 10 m range after s...

Thank you for your responses. I did have one other question I neglected to post: Does dry fire practise using a blank wall without an aiming spot help develope the "sight picture form" of aligning the F & R sights and a proper trigger squeeze that doesn't disturb this? I seem to concen...

New to the sport

I have been shooting an IZH 46M for 2 weeks now and am holding 95% of my shots in the black on a 10 m air pistol target at 10 m. Average score is 77-83 with an occasional "oh crap" shot in the 3-6 ring! In general terms, what do I do now to get my groups consistently in the 8 ring or bette...
