Re: Rolling trigger

This article contains the essential elements of using a roll trigger. You need to learn to be very aggressive with the roll, as stopping and starting your pull again, leads to disaster. In slow fire, is is easy to develop a hesitation error, and the best drill I have found is to practice slow fire ...

I have both the MEC and the Anschutz on different rifles and neither are any better that the standard LGR one. Thank you for the information Robin, I will get the Anschutz one and see how I get on. I apreciate they may not be much difference but I am very reluctant to take a file to a pristine LGR ...

Rolling trigger

I have read a post by "Warren" which is nearly nine years old now, so rather than ressurecting the post this is what he wrote bwith regard to the AERON Chameleon: The Chameleon was developed directly from the 5-shot B96. This is why it cocks itself automatically. The trigger is a long roll...

Triggers

Actual physical triggers not trigger mechanisms or components but the actual part that comes into contact with your finger. I would like to replace the trigger on my Walther LGR with something like this: Anschutz http://www.edinkillie.co.uk/ecatalog/images/Ahg/6201-2.jpg or MEC: http://www.edinkilli...

Be careful. Nobody should be able to see signs of your work when you are done. It should look like it just came from the factory or better. If you see any of my guns that it repair they are always immaculate and exactly to factory spec. I take great pride in my work. Having said that, would anyone ...

Well, here I am again - Walther LGR

Starting to feel like a bit of a fraud right now because I am asking, yet again, for help and I feel I would like to give. But as a wise friend said - that will come in tie. After the kindness shown by a member by sending me the Drawings/manual for my friends FWB150 I am now rebuilding my own Walthe...

In fairness to the second poster DHL deals with all of the International shippoing for Deutshe Bundespost but as the person posting the item takes it to the Post office it is pretty academic.

Well, it is pretty simple really. eGun is usually a good place to buy from and although many sellers there say "will not post International" if you stasrt a dialogue via email in many cases the sellers will agree to ship. Sending the funds will cost you between ten and fifteen dollars. The...

There are some very odd and curious rules regarding the import and export of guns and shooting equipment into and out of the US, UK and Europe but by and large "Olympic Sport Equipment" is pretty much left alone - outside of the usual taxes. It is when we start importing and exporting vint...

Not that for one second do I doubt the poster above but I would ask why? Why is customs an issue? Apart from the obvious, that they want money AKA "import duty" from the importer, why would Customs be an issue?
Just curious is all.

There are some simplifying rules, and lenses are only available typically in 1/4 diopter steps, so the answer reduces to a rifle needs +0.5 diopter (or +0.5 diopter added to your distance vision if you wear glasses). Shorter carbines, AR, and pistol usually need +0.75, or +0.75 added to your distan...
