Well, she shoots!!
Finally after about 3 months I was able to get out to the range. I took my BSA Martini MKII out... What an amazing rifle! I knew she would be accurate, but I have to say... This is the best 5 shot group I have ever made... I misspoke on the tag as it was 100 meters (not yards). Anyway... All I can s...

Re: BSA Martini MKII Project #2 Finished! Lots of pics
How did you polish out the rust spots and keep the printing on the steel so sharp? Hey James... I seriously have well over 30 hours of flat hand sanding on the second "light pattern" Martini (which was the one that was far worse). I took a flat metal block and start sanding (John Harrison...

BSA Martini MKII Project #2 Finished! Lots of pics
Hey gang, I wanted to share the the second BSA Martini Project I took on (mentioned it in my project I post)! Again, these are my favorite .22 rifles ever made... anyone who has shot one will attest to the quality and accuracy of them. With that said, this was a lot more work than the first one... h...

Help Scoping a BSA Martini MKII (Benchrest)
I am in the market for a benchrest scope that is going on a BSA MKII I was looking at a Weaver T36 or the Sightron SII Big Sky 36x42. I am also considering a Sightron S3 6-24×50... Does anyone have thoughts on choice? Range is going to be 50-100 yards... Most of the old timers I am shooting BR rimfi...

Re: Anyone Shooting a Chambers Custom?
I am one of Joes clients and consider Joe a friend! I was merely asking if anyone here had used one of these due to the nature of his handguns. I am sure his conversion knocks it out of the park:) basically if he is claiming something, I would no doubt believe it!

Re: Gehmann on a PH rear?
Yes, the PH25C sight can be moved as stated above. So the real question is... if I find an adaptor, is it worth getting a Gehmann for it or, should I just leave it as it is right now? I have never used a Gehmann Iris before but, they look impressive. I have shot the standard PH25C sights, they seem ...

Re: Gehmann on a PH rear?
That these just screw in or you need an adaptor... or it depends on what Gehmann iris you have?Martin Catley wrote:That is correct but no idea where you would get one where you are!

Gehmann on a PH rear?
Hey guys, I was looking at an acquaintance's BSA Martini with PH sights on it. The rear had a Gehmann rear iris on it though... does anyone know if that is normal? I have read there is an adaptor and some say you just screw it in the PH rear. Anyway care to school me on this?
Thanks,
B
