Re: Question about 1600 Anschutz
20240212_194650 - Copy - Copy - Copy (2).jpg Hi Opusxc100, I understand your explanations and yes. My approach which starts after I finish my last breaths while up and holding, Is I am approx at 9 o'clock, and I slowly move to the right, as slow as I possibly can, and as I get closer , i slow down ...

Re: Am I too old?
Try it and find out. You maybe extremely talented. Shooting is a lifestyle, hang in there and you will see what you can do. IMO, it is convenient for the young to train and pursue this goal, because there are not any other demands on life when you are younger. So if you have the means at 23 and your...

Re: Question about 1600 Anschutz
I shoot standing with a 20x, 22x, never have tried a 24x, but think I would be fine with it. I am old school Standing shooter, 45 deg foot position. I saw the present method, new at the time, get pushed into play in the late 80's, early 90's. Am not trying to start a storm here, I do what I do, for ...

Re: Scuba tank setup for air pistol cylinder refills
I chose to get the compressor and fill my own, reasons being, not any round trip travel time to and from a fill station, also considering the fill is only a top off fill. I regularly fill the tank once a week in the outdoor warm season, due to the more air used per shot with an FX Crown outdoor air ...

Re: Scuba tank setup for air pistol cylinder refills
I fill my own 80 cu ft scuba tank to 3000 psi, with a "Yong Heng" dual stage air compressor with filters. The Yong Heng will go to 300 bar, 4000 psi , but my tank is a aluminum 3000 psi, and that is all I need. The 4000 psi tanks are big $$. The Yong Heng is approx $300 at amazon, try to g...

Re: 100 yard Air Rifle Standing
Last night was the first Standing at 40 yds with the FWB 10 meter rifle, 20x scope. It is quite tricky. Got a 260/300=87% 20240527_085045 - Copya.jpg The fun part is when done correctly, crosshairs on the X, you can see the pellet go thru the X , crosshairs on X before , during, after. Trying for 50...

Re: daisy challenger 84
Possible interest in these. Are you stating that you only have 1 cylinder to be used for all 3 rifles?
Or are you saying that you have 1 cylinder per rifle? So you have 3 rifles with 1 cylinder per rifle, you have 3 cylinders total.

Re: 100 yard Air Rifle Standing
Getting set up for 100 yard Standing with the FX Crown, and something new for this year, to go along at the same time. Turned the hammer spring up a bit on the FWB 800x/900, and is bench grouping one hole at 40 yards, need to try more bench at 50 yards with it. It takes some time to settle down afte...

Starting new Jr air rifle group
Good news today is, permission granted to start a youth (maybe seniors as well) air rifle group at my local church. Pretty much carte blanche for any /all situations involving target air guns. I am reading the CMP website, and calling tomorrow. A very good floor area of 50 foot x 50 foot with high c...

Is your application biathlon? Reliability 100,000 to 200,000 shots easily, very likely twice that. One hole accuracy, no need to ask. Maintenance, there is no need or reason for, read some threads here on this topic.

Re: the muzzle moves to the left a little when pull the trigger
Could be your follow thru is not as perfect as you may think it is, slow down, relax more , like you are dry firing it. Keep your eyes open before , during, after, see the entire shot happen , then you can diagnose your own problem if there are any. Another possible situation is your hold position o...

Re: Feinwerkbau 2024
The 2024 900 in my common size , 3 came in, and all 3 were pre bought, glad I pre bought, and got 1 of the 3. CC was the first to get the 2024 900's in the US, guessing. There are no other vendors who have 900 in stock, prior to FEB . Try finding one. Not sure if any US vendor ships via Air,...? Shi...

Re: Feinwerkbau 2024
CC shipped as they stated they would , they had told me they ship their orders in the order that they are received. Medium Right is common, so a pre buy was needed, CC had 3 coming and all 3 were prebought, and then wait a month coming from Germany. The FWB's came in Friday or Saturday, and mine shi...
