The new pants may have had something to do with my recent better Standing scores. After a year of training, am starting to see good results, hang in there and stay cool, relax.

Re: New Gehmann pants

20230506_185058 - Copy.jpg These new pants are double canvas, each of the 2 thickness is 0.040" , with I think a bonding sheet of approx 0.020", Total thickness is 0.095" to 0.100" I am curious about this as they are very stiff and am wondering if this 427 model has always been ...

EKG

Has any one ever hooked up an EKG machine to themselves while shooting? and monitor your #'s while shooting?
I see there are a few on Amazon , but would need to get one with sticky pads.

Re: Returning to 3 Position: 20+ years later

I am kind of in your same situation , many years of past AR and smallbore training followed by a 10 year break. Am back at AR Standing , 5 eves a week. Have good vision, and use a rear iris, to get the sight picture sharp and clear, I go as dark as possible and still see the picture with ease. Have ...

Re: Jacket vs no jacket and expectations

Hi KD, I can give a short quick answer now, and a detailed answer in time. I started smallbore position when I was 12 in a Junior Program. At 14 started standing. As a group of young kids who all knew each other, and all started standing at the same time, we all had problems with standing, everyone ...

Re: Scope for training

After approx 20 targets w/scope, for tonight am starting to see and feel a more relaxed heartbeat, while watching the beat with the crosshairs bouncing, just thinking, ok relax heart, smooth out the peaks of this beat, and it did, the peaks reduced 30%. I may have been having an infrequent good nigh...

Scope for training

Have been training with iron sights since last May, at least 5 eves a week. Patiently waiting for a new level of score to appear, realizing it takes time and effort, and still enjoy the shooting very much. So the thinking here is with the 16x scope, I will see what actually is going on at the target...

Hi Mark, It is good to hear that you are starting a rifle group, air, smallbore, hp. I have tried for years to get more people involved with air/smallbore, and still am alone in my area. I will private message you.

Re: FWB 900

The 2 pivot points for angling the stock, just behind the hand grip are not there or are different on the 900, as compared to the 800x. I like those 2 adjustments, as the stock nests nicely across my chest as I cant 10 degrees. Also the rotating rear sight is a big plus.

Re: Suggestions for Airline Rifle Cases

When the case is closed and resting upright, the lower center of gravity will prevent it from tipping over, understood it is not a big issue. Also, when placing the rifle in the case, it is a more natural placing method. This entire rifle is totally surrounded by pick/pluck foam, it is not moving at...

Re: New guy needs advice-PCP rifle

Hi Nat, What are your plans on how you will shoot this PCP? bench, prone, kneeling, standing? Field or 10 bull 10 meter? Leather suit? I was previously in your position, and shooting FWB 601 and FWB C60 standing 10 bull 10 meter. After time , thought , research and comparison, I went with a FWB 800x...

20221015_072853 - Copy - Copy.jpg This adjuster appears to be a hex /torx combo? Or 2 separate items? It is a 2.5 mm hex, I did not adjust or change anything, but put a 2.5 mm hex wrench in there, and noticed that this assembly is loose in there, for and aft, and rotates, all directions. The torx p...
