Re: After a Spotting Scope recommendation for 25m

I bought the 29 dollar on sale scope at harbor freight. Its quite serviceable indoors at 10 meter and 25 yards, really bright and has great focusing.....

Re: AP20 Sprung a Leak.. :(

I could be wrong, BUT, my FWB P44 did the same thing when I took the tank off while the gun was cocked. When I put it back on, it leaked, I shot it, it still leaked. I took the tank off, cycled it about 20 times and whatever didnt like what I did lined up the right way again and all was well..... It...

Re: Toz 35 broken sear lever.

I agree with laser welding BUT don't identify it as a gun part unless asked. Many excellent craftsmen in the watch repair industry wont do the work if you tell them its for your pistol, instead operating on a dont ask dont tell model. Dont lie, but don't offer it up either, they know what they are l...

Re: Fwb-601 velocity issues

Turning the hammering screw is not going to work. This is an SSP gun, not a Pcp gun. 100% of all air compressed is discharged each shot. There is no regulator or reservoir feeding the gun that would make the gun susceptible to hammer spring adjustment to change shot volume. Shot volume is fixed by t...

Re: Fwb-601 velocity issues

unless you adjust the powerplant, the pellet weight will only affect velocity, and total energy will remain where it is now.

Re: Pumping iron...

Respectfully, annual tank maintenance consists of a visual inspection. That takes 30 minutes. The only time the inspection gets lengthy is when the tank needs to be Hydrostatically inspected and eddy Current checked. Thats once every few years... A brand new 80 cu ft alu tank is $225 ish. I think yo...

Re: Styer trigger shoe lateral movent fix?

More torque is the wrong answer. You guys should dust a bit of rosin powder into the joint and then tighten it. Its a wonderful non-permanent way to address the problem.....

ditch the blaktek. Its very restricted in how it adjusts to a shooter.
Buy an 800x or anything but a blaktek

I practice all my 10 meter shooting in a commercial range. Shooting good scores when Tommy Tactical is blasting away with his AR15 indoors prepares you well as far as maintaining focus goes...... Try it.

Re: Regulator spring pile LP200

You know....MOST of the time, use of a silicone based oil "blown thru" the gun will lobe the regulator washer stack and get them moving relative to each other again. I would certainly to that before I panic too much....... Its easy

I wouldn't worry about the so called "visible dust". Many manufactures use MolyD Powder as a lube.
The chances of of it being lead powder are about zero

Re: Rear sight shifted too far to one side

I have an 800X... The stock adjustments are incorrect for you. If you have the sights all the way down and your head is leaning a bit to the right, you run out of right sight adjustment to align your head. Move the sights up. there are 4 levels of height adjustment. After your head is standing up, y...

Re: Filling the Daisy 599

If you mean the pressure gauge doesnt show full after you fill it, and it bothers you, fill the air tank.. its the nature of the beast to get a lower fill pressure each time you fill the gun from the tank.

Re: Interesting air pistol on Krale's website..

Im getting in line for one of these. It appears to be a pretty decent piece of kit. The reports on other snowpeak pistols is favorable. I also have shot a gray market FWB 65 of unknown origin, and it was surprisingly good. Its back ordered, and we will see when (if) it shows up and go from there.......

Re: Got my Walther LP500 - but there's a catch

I guess it’s just easier for ISSF to say 10 years across the board than to have different timelines for different air cylinders. To me though if a company like Walther says they stand behind a cylinder for 20 years and have dates marked on the cylinder showing when it was manufactured and the expir...

I really really wish I had my Daisy 94 back..... My dad bought it for me in 6th grade. It was a cheap spring cowboy levergun, and to me it was made of gold..... I miss our time together........
