I no longer use twist, seem to shoot better with weight over my feet, but I still push the hips forward enough to balance the rifle weight. Its not only stock adjustments, do the same shooting silhouette.

With the Kowa 821 using the zoom it depends on the magnification setting I'm using for the conditions and if I can get the scope set where moving my head brings all bulls into view. I try to position the angled lens piece more below my non-shooting eye than out to the left.

Also make certain you are focused on the point of aim on the target and not the crosshairs; opposite of irons.

To achieve positive compensation there needs to be consistent vertical barrel vibration. I have not run the tests, but others have reported that overly thick barrels or ones clamped to eliminate muzzle vibration do not perform well.

Clean mine before every match. A 12 GA wire brush works well on metal, but I use a 12 GA mop on carbon fiber with Hoppes then dry it with paper towels.

I bought a 54.30 out of the first US shipment. It is very accurate. Since I've shot 1913's for years, the K500 would have introduced too much of a learning curve. Some feel the 54 round action is inherently more accurate than the square; never owned a 2013 so I can't judge.
