Adapter to use 10m front sights on a Weihrauch?
Can't believe these aren't more common but I can't find anything ready made to adapter a modern Centra-Gehmann type front sight with a 14mm dovetail to a modern Weihrauch type front barrel with milled in dovetail 8.5mm wide (at widest point). Surely somebody else has done this? What works best? I've...

Re: Why isn't there an Airsoft target gun?
Thanks those are all good points. I remember seeing a video of a bizarre indoor 3-gun match from Shanghai... it must be exciting to carry your plastic shotgun, AR, and pistols through the crowded city streets. For me, one session into it, I am quite impressed with my Airsoft 2011 being a fun way to ...

Why isn't there an Airsoft target gun?
OK I know you guys are going to smirk and I don't have a lot of time on here but I respect your expertise quite a lot. I have a 50-yard outdoor air pellet range on my property, I use it to plink with my 10m air pistol and sporter air rifles. Recently I moved some of my steel powderburner targets ove...

Re: Upgrade Host's Website
I used to be in the dot.com industry in the early days but it's passed me by. Nowadays it is hard to justify the price of a custom website... you really have to spend well over $20K to get something good, otherwise the lowball shops are only going to adapt some template and do stuff that is maybe on...

Re: Optical scope over red dot for 10m plinker w astigmatism
Well I this seemed to be the most logical subform to post in, understanding that I'm not trying to compete but at the same time trying to be a little more serious than plinking a Crosman BB gun at pop cans.
Heavens I even take the FAS outdoors and plink in the wind, hardly optimal but fun.

Re: Optical scope over red dot for 10m plinker w astigmatism
It's not the Red Dot that's a problem, it's YOU!!! Get some prescription glasses! Forget the PCP....you can't buy points. I figured you would post so I put that Easter Egg in just for you! You're right, last visit to the eye doc told me it wasn't a big enough problem but this year it is! However I ...

Optical scope over red dot for 10m plinker w astigmatism?
Apologies for being an infrequent, newbie poster but basically I plink in my 9m basement range and occasional tap metal spinners in the backyard with a 1983 FAS 604 pneumatic air pistol (which I love). I'm 56 years old and require +2.0 readers for close work and have a variety of top and bottom bifo...

Is there a rule/best practice for lighting the target?
I'm in the process of setting up a more serious home basement range and even though I won't likely be competing, I'd like to follow the rules... but honestly I seem to do better with a really bright light illuminating the target. Is there a standard for this? I have light meters from photography to ...

Play in spring loaded target sights
Apologies for such a newbie question but I've been shooting with a 1980s FAS 604 air pistol with the stock sights. On this gun the rear sight has a plate which is spring loaded and can rock from its base fore-aft about a millimeter. It returns to position but I wonder why it needs to be loose at all...
