There were some hot exchanges on the subject on suisse french speaking forum www.pistoliers.com. The biggest defenders of MG-2 were french national rapid team members. They all shoot with MG-2 and they know what they are talking about. Yes, there were some isssues with MG-2, but nothing catastrophic...

I would say it is common, at least was for me too. The problem is that you are watching the target and probably spending too much time in aiming process. Try to give less importance to aiming. Release your shot in not more then 3 secs when your hand drop below bullseye. Do not care for results, I wo...

FP is men's international event but that doesn't prevent a country federation to have specific event on national level even though it doesn't confirm to strict ISSF regulations. In France like in Canada women shot FP and men (senior) shoot sport pistol. The regulations neither doesn't prevent to be ...

When shooting in club, I shot sighting shots with pellets to calibrate Scatt and dry fire the rest of the session. Some other shooters who doesn't have their AP equiped with compensators prefer to shot with pellets all the time. The recoil gives them more sensations. When it comes to comparing scatt...

Nicole - In France women compete at National championship in Free pistol discipline. I don't see any reason why should not be the same in your country. Men compete in sport pistol. In 10 M mobile target both men and women compete together. It would be nice to have an input from other countries too. ...

Smoking357 - Sorry if I sounded arrogant in my last post. Let me say you before I continue, both my standard and free pistol are second hand and they are 25 years old models. $300 counts to me. What counts for me too is that my pistols are reliable. Either I try them before I buy or buy them at guns...

David - I understood well the original posting. I just wanted to let know what is the cost for the new Toz in France, so the price of the second hand one can be evaluated. On Pilkuguns the new TOZ with Morini grip is listed for $1250. The grip will add at least $150 to the price. The Toz in France w...

Hammerli 208 sights wdith

I bought recently Hammerli 208 pistol in mint condition. The pistol came width original sights, width 3.2 mm. I am used to much larger sights and at first I had feeling that such narrow sigts won't be good. At fire range, I got acustometed easily. Neverthless, I am still tempted to try either 3.6 or...

I am just curious about your firearm permit. Does it mean that you can get European firearms permit regardless the restrictions in your country ?

Ig you can get one, why do not you just cross the channel and go to shot in Belgium or France ?

Cheers,

You can have the same approach with Scatt Training program. You cannot create a blank target or a target with a big black spot. There is a way to evaluate the "concentric" amount of the trace directly from given Scatt result of "Steadiness in 10.0". In the shot table the column i...

There are 3 grip sizes for your pistol. (S,M,L). Is there a mark on the grip ?

Can you mesure the size of your hand ?
