Walther SSP or Pardini SP New
I am currently using a GSP Expert, and am finding it very heavy. So, I am looking for something a bit lighter. The SSP and the Pardini SP New seem to be both lighter than the GSP. My question is, what is the more reliable shooter...hearing some worrying SSP issues for example the magazines, and need...

Re: S&W 52-2 Barrel issue ?
Chemical stain/discoloration during the manufacturing process... The barrel exteriors are plated..Your barrel just has a blemish.. Otherwise, that has virtually no wear marks..Nice find.. Thanks for the reply, you are correct, I found this picture of a new barrel..... http://i1201.photobucket.com/a...

S&W 52-2 Barrel issue ?
Hello folks, I just picked up a triple mint 52-2, like new in box (really) ser #TFC32xx. Just today I stripped it for a cleaning and inspection. The innards are pristine, but the barrel has me wondering. There is an irregular "ring" around the barrel, almost like a smudge, but you can feel...

Re: S&W 52-2 Owners Manual
Thank you for the reply, and the link. I just purchased this 52-2, and it is truly pristine, not a mark on it. Its almost a sacrilege to fire it ! (but I can live with that !)

GSP Frame, legal question-Canada
Hi folks, I am in the process of selling a GSP frame. This frame has no serial # on it. (it was manufactured that way) The number is on the receiver. However, I am selling just the part that the grips attach to, and the houses the trigger. According to the Canadian Firearms Act, a frame is controlle...

GSP 2 Stage trigger weight set up
Hello folks, its been a while. I am at the point where trigger weight actually means something ! I want to set up my GSP 2 stage trigger to a total of 1360 Grams.(ISSF) 800Gr first stage and 560Gr second stage. There is a lot of info on the Web and in the manual on setting the trigger up, but I cann...

Having trouble with .32 GSP
Thanks for the reply, I just re-seated and re crimped 250 rounds...more of a crimp angle. I think part of my problem is the waddcutters, they have a slight button on the top, which creates a small channel between the button and the case rim. Its the case rim which is getting a slight dent on all of ...

Having trouble with .32 GSP
Thanks for the replies folks, My brass is getting somewhat old, I shoot 30 rounds twice per week, for 400 brass casings for about 2 years. I think I'll start on new brass. I clean the GSP religiously after each shoot

Having trouble with .32 GSP
I'm getting a failure to feed every 15-20 shots fired. Have examined the mag lips, seem OK (does anyone know the factory measurement between the lips ?) The brass in all cases has a small nick on the bullet end rim (very small, notice it with a fingernail) Have just ordered a new recoil spring, hope...

Thanks for the reply John. I finally removed the Expert's sight blade (#8)by using penetrating oil, and a small brass hammer, and was able to fit the older style blade, (#3 I think) by pushing it down from the top.
I needed a smaller notch, too much light was getting in.
Thanks for the reply.

Walther GSP rear sight blades
Does anyone know if the rear sight blades from older GSP's (which mount directly on the studs from the top) will fit the GSP Expert ?(which have a side mount)
If not, does anyone know where I can get blades for the Expert ?
Thanks in advance.

Walther GSP 5" barrel ?
Hi there, I just purchased an older GSP in mint condition. It has the standard blued barrel and a stainless steel 5" barrel marked "Walther" in their scroll logo, and below it "Earl's"
Does anyone have any info on this barrel ? I can't find anything on the net.
Thanks

Clark .38 Special + Marvel et al
Hello folks, just joined. I enjoy Bullseye shooting, and have recently acquired a Clark 61-5, with a low serial # (0045x-H) The slide is mounted on a pre-70's Colt National Match. My question is, can I put a Marvel .22 conversion on the Colt lower, or has there been some alterations on the frame for...
