Re: Burris 1x scope from Gil Heber
The reticle is an 8 MOA dot, if I remember correctly. Supposedly the size of the 10 ring on a 25/50 yard target. I used them for years, and they worked well when I had younger eyes... My son and a couple of other local shooters still use them. Most were 1X, but there are some 2X versions. I still ha...

Re: Unique DES-69 Dot Mount
A gunsmith friend and I made one from a 1911 frame mount and a piece of aluminum machined to fit the barrel weight dovetail.
I tried, but cannot get the photo to load on here..........

I believe it is 3 rounds per shooting stage when extra rounds are allowed.

Re: Nelson .22lr conversion opinions?
I have 3 of them. In my opinion, they are the best .22 conversions available. Three of them ? I have my old Marvel that has only let me down one time after seven years of firing it, the firing pin broke and borrowed a pistol from a fellow shooter to get through the match. I am not a back up gun kin...

Re: Unique DES-69 magazine catch?
J.........
You were correct, it just unscrewed, although it wasn't happy about it....... A friend and I modified the piece that holds the magazine in place and now it works fine.
Many thanks.
How are things in Kiwi land?

Unique DES-69 magazine catch?
Does anyone know just how the magazine catch on a DES-69 comes out of the frame? I can't tell for sure from what diagrams I can find. I bought one a while back, had a set of Andrew Berryhill's 3-D grips made, then worked with a local gunsmith to create a scope mount. Went to the range to sight it in...

Re: 3 d Printed Grips.
I received my new grips from Andrew today. I had him make a set for my Unique DES-69 .22lr target pistol. Just to be different, I had them done in red, white, and blue. To get the shape and size I wanted, I sent him the grips from my Hammerli 208S. He duplicated their size and feel to the Unique fra...

Flat, with lengthwise striations. I probably have one or two if you need one.

K.C. Crawford can work magic with any 1911 target gun. I think he uses the force................
Another good one is Jon Eulette. He did a superb trigger on one of my 1911 .38 Specials.

Re: Best .22 conversion to buy?
I have 2 Nelsons. Zero problems with either of them. One feature I really like is the steel shroud. I weighed my wad gun with a Clark base on the slide and an Aimpoint. The Nelson, on another frame with the scope base shroud and an Aimpoint, weighs 1/2 ounce more. No magazines in either gun. The ope...

Shots per cylinder?
Since used ones seem to be hard to come by, I am considering a new air pistol, either Steyr LP10 compact or Morini 162M compact. Can anyone tell me approximately how many rounds per cylinder I can expect?
Thanks.
Ric
Thanks.
