You print the grip as two halves split left/right and there will be no overhangs.

My 3d printer cost a lot less than a CNC mill!

Well according to Stan the man, it's a November 2001 but they lost the serial number data from that period backwards when they split with Mannlicher. My serial is 803794 The gold cylinders are dated 98, the silver gauged cylinder has no stamps as far as I can see. Just looking for a left hand grip a...

Well I do have the tools to do it, admittedly not state-of-the-art, but certainly sufficient to do a grip. I've made them before from walnut by hand and it's hard work, but interesting to do. I agree that making adjustments on the cad model would be a challenge, as the scan is a point cloud and not ...

3d printed anatomical grips

Without wanting to start a big 'diy plastic guns' debate, has anyone tried 3d printing a set of grips??? It would be quite easy to 3d scan an existing grip, make adjustments to it with a 3d cad package and then print it out. I guess it might be a little more slippery in ABS than laminate or walnut...

Well I decided to buy it anyway!

It's in very nice condition.

One cylinder (silver) has a gauge the other 3 don't and are painted gold.

The muzzle has a round insert.

Just need to get a left handed grip!

I have read that the muzzle has a squared off insert on later models and that the later cylinders have gauges rather than pop out pressure indicators.

I going to look at a second hand one and I'd like to know when it was made.

Age of a Steyr LP5

Hi All,

Is there a quick way to tell the age of a Steyr LP5?

The one I'm looking at is an LP5P.

Does the serial number have the date in it or is there at date stamp on the gun?

Cheers,

Richard.
