Hi Andre, thank you for the hint. I guess I will order a spring at Wolf. I only do not yet know if a weaker or a stronger. The original fixed rear sight weights 28gramms. I have removed it and installed a slide mount from BME which has appr. 16 gramms. Than the Aimpoint Micro which has 110 gramms. T...

When I use the Slide mount I think I have two dissadvanteges in camparison to a frame mount. 1. Sight moves in moment of shooting. 2. I have to use high pressure ammunition to avoid missrepeating. Second problem I can solve with another recoil. Where can I get one? The grooves on my M52-2 are very s...

S&W M52 Reddot too heavy on slide? Need advices

Hi Folks, after some time a new question to the Shooters in the USA. John Chernick from BME told me my S&W M52-2 may be not appropriate for his frame mount (I would prefer the frame mount) because the tiny grooves may be to flat on my S&W M52-2. I use already a slide mount from him (good wor...

I have only limited experiences with rimfire pistols but decided after reading many many hours reviews etc. for a Haemmerli 208s. The Pistol I have bought was unfired and the quality as ecpected. Nothing is cheap, everything is built like a high-end swiss watch. Making so perfect Surfaces and fittin...

At last At last my mount has arrived. I bought it from BME and it fits (after few touches with a needle file) perfect. Thank you John. uwe from Germany First I have prefered a larger mount from Larry but unfortunately I am at the moment a little weak of Money (probably the Micro H1 was so expensive)...

OK, I have understand the procedure of disassembling for the 32 S&W. Very easy but why the part in front which must be moved forward has been made of plastic?
Maybe because of its weight?
It would be nice for me to own the whole set as delivered, even if I have no need for the hand tool.

At last I have my new / old P240 in 32 S & W. It comes with two Magacines, the "proof medal" and the box. Unfortunately witout the manual and without the disassembling tool. With the copy from Pilkguns in the WWW I was able to disassemble the P240 easy and remove all the dirt from the ...

Thanks a lot people. Unfortunately the books concerning SIG Pistols are very expensive (one causes even trouble ;-)) see the link) and if I would have been a little clever, I had bought an example years ago ;-(. The caliber I have bought is 32 S&W long. Most P240s are obviously in caliber 38? uw...

Hi Folks, on the WWW seems to be only few information concerning the SIG P240 Pistol (any Caliber 22, 32 S&W or 38). So I would appreciate information concerning this pistol (history, year of production, number of produced pistols, pros/cons, reviews, loading datas etc.). Thank for your help uwe...

I guess most shooeters prefer in Germany disciplines with Olympic connections like airpistol/airrifle 10 meters. I used to shoot AP for years with an older Steyr LP1 (Co2). Unfortunately less and less people shooting Free Pistol so Haemmerli and Steyr gave up production of their nice Free Pistols 16...

I have used a Leupold VX III 2.5-8x32 on my FA both hand for years on 25 meters competition shooting. Works great (but difficult for competition when you shoot within few seconds). Very impressive sharp and clear. With 2.5 magnification for free hand possible. Bigger magnification probably better wh...

I use Ballistol for 16 years on all guns (Blackpowder, Rimfire, Les Baer, Freedom Arms etc. etc.). Always satisfied. Good to all metalls and all woods and skin and does not harm plastic or rubber ;-) The only problem is that if you store a gun for month the oil on the surface evaporate so put the Ba...

Competition is splitted depending from Shooting Association someone belongs. In the DSB (biggest SA in Germany) you shoot rimfire only with one hand, in BDS you are allowed to use both or only one hand. I want to use the BDS Discipline so removed the one hand grip and bought the Nill both hand grip ...
