Re: 1st Generation Pardini SPE 22 & MP 32

Hi Aaron, As for the manuals, go to the pardini website https://pardini.it/en/manuals-and-drawings/ and scroll down to the discontinued items. On the older models, check if the rubber buffer that the slide bottoms out on is in good order. They eventually crack and need to be replaced. Hope this helps

Re: Olympic Rapidfire 2028 LA

I'm not sure why he says MSP won the vote. Looks like RFP won it. IPshooter, Active ISSF shooters voted 205 (53,5%) to 178 (46.5%) in favor of RF. All ISSF shooters (active and non active) voted 263 (51.4%) to 248 (48.6%) against RF. What this means is that there is a 50-50 split in the matter. And...

Re: Walther GSP - grip size check

Usually there is a letter stamped in the bottom of the grip.
Older grips didn't always had that.
If your grip doesn't have any stamp, your only bet is to take the hand chart and try to work the size from those measurements.

Hope this helps

Re: Olympic Rapidfire 2028 LA

Grippy, The only thing we disagree is the importance of being a TV friendly sport. In my opinion this is the best way we can dissociate from the violence associated with guns. And we should do everything we can to show it. While this may not be as relevant in the USA or Switzerland, because of your ...

Re: Newbie - progression and frustrations

Hi agatek, You mention a lot of things, position, breath, grip, concentration, but you didn't mention one key element, sights! Pistol shooting comes down to alignment of the sights and breaking the trigger without messing that alignment. This my recommendation to all new shooters: 1- Focus on the fr...

Re: Olympic Rapidfire 2028 LA

Although I think that Sport Pistol would be better to develop new shooters, specially at club level, Rapid Fire is WAY more TV friendly. And that matters a lot for the sport. I think the new final would require 4 sets of targets, with two shooters per five targets, as it is now. Not a big deal for t...

Re: How do I know my grip fits me?

How do I know my grip fits me? The grip has to do two things: 1- Give you a consistent grip, and that means, you pick your gun up with your eyes closed and point it to the target, when you open your eyes your sights are aligned. All the time, every time. 2- Spread the load of the gun over the surfa...

Perma blue from birchwood casey.
It´s a cold blue solution that works very well.
Degrease the parts very well before applying it.

I know this is an old thread, but any up to date advice on weightlifting vs pistol shoes. I have noticed that I do sway sometimes and many shots I abandon are due to swaying Hi Bret, There is a simple test you can do. Try dry firing barefoot at home, (doubt that you can do it at the range... ;) ). ...

Re: Tank Questions

Question.... what would happen if you inadvertently unscrewed the brass adapter from the pump, with the tank still installed? The cylinder (tank) would dump the air quite fast, making a loud noise. It's not enough to make it dangerous or to make it fly of your hands, but you get a scare out of it. ...

Re: Hearing Protection and Recommendations for 10M

I have a few questions: 1. Is hearing protection a given, and do most ISSF shooters wear it? Yes, it's hard to find a top athlete that doesn't use them. For ISSF, no electronic hearing protection is allowed, just passive. 2. Are Apple Airpod Pro (in-ear) or Airpod Max (over ear) sufficient? I know ...

Re: Storing cylinders

Pre charged pistol air cylinders should not be stored on the pistol or you can use a seperator/spacer to disconnect the tank from the pistol. This will allow the pressure regulator to be depressurised, giving a longer life to the spring pile of the regulator. For long term storage, leave the cylind...

Re: 25m RFP Proposed changes

Men's 25m would also allow for a mixed teams event at the Olympics (i.e. a team of two, one male and one female) which the IOC seem to be very keen on. Though this would be a new event, a set number of competitors shooting 25m matches can be gone through a hell of a lot faster than the same number ...

Because your other hand was holding the reins!
And sideways you are a smaller target.
