On the older models, check if the rubber buffer that the slide bottoms out on is in good order. They eventually crack and need to be replaced. Hope this helps

Usually there is a letter stamped in the bottom of the grip.
Older grips didn't always had that.
If your grip doesn't have any stamp, your only bet is to take the hand chart and try to work the size from those measurements.
