Re: Is this air rifle modification Legal?

Looks absolutely fine to me as long as it is 90mm or less from the centerline of the barrel.

RMC is NOT a selection for the WC USA.
The air rifle participants were selected from WAG.
The smallbore participants will be selected in an early January selection match. I have attached the program.

I think Rory is correct. a telephone cable from radio shack etc. has the wires in reverse order when you look at the connectors from the same side. Cut one off and replace the connector ensuring the wires are in the same color order left to right from the same side of the connector. Both lights are ...

Try these settings. With F-Coefficient at 0 it is like you are shooting a laser instantaneously. in real life the projectile takes a finite amount of time to get to the target. Shot dispersion 0 Shot moment 0 F coefficient ~20 range 15-25 Control interval 1 Shot dispersion tries to emulate the real ...

That's what I am talking about!!
Good job Joel. What do the rest of you think? Any other ideas?

Should the extra sighting time be included or separate for each stage?

What about air rifle? how should that work?

Joel, These are not just rules for JO qualifiers. 3x40 may not be shot commonly but it is still a course of fire that needs to be considered. My experience is that not all ranges can hang all six targets for smallbore. We need a rule for that situation. Just because you think you have it solved does...

OK, So what is the idea? We need 3 minutes plus 5 minutes after a target change for prep and sighters? How about 8 minutes combined? 7 minutes? Something else? The reason I'm asking is that it is not in the rules, so what should it be? Next question: 3x20 and 3x40 what about the change over in posit...

I seem to remember the safety inserts a pin into the bolt handle which would prevent the bolt from being opened when the safety is on. I looked at the picture and it seems to verify this. Is the pin still inserted into the bolt? The other cause of a stuck bolt is lack of lubrication. The internals n...

Please allow me to make a slight correction. While Center Shot Sports may not be the only MEC and Centra dealer, or Scatt for that matter, we have been selling it all for now our 15th year and we have a large inventory of centra and MEC products. It is sometimes difficult to keep up with Scatt sales...

Once again, I see a near perfect example of bad rulemaking. This particular rule was not mentioned in the official Summary of Changes in 2013-2016 ISSF Rules. Yet there it is. A fair reading of it would seem to disallow the Sauer and several other manufacturers boots. I don't see any official announ...

Rob, Something is unclear to me. Were you asked to post this somewhat official sounding statement? By whom? Who wrote it? Regardless of what it says the blue stuff cannot be the "SAME" material. It may have a similar chemical composition, but it has different physical properties. Don't get...

I have been confused by the cooments here. 1. The calibration shot need NOT be in the exact center of the inner calibration ring. It just needs to be in there somewhere. The software then ASSUMES that you aimed and pulled the trigger while exactly centered on the target downrange. For example, if yo...

Richard et. al., Is it really a threat? Or is it a perception of threat that is driving this? And one more thought: isn't the SFZ (start from zero) in the final the ultimate incarnation of socialism in sport? He/she has too many points and he/she has too few, so to be fair, we make them all equal at...

Richard, I asked the question of two high ups in ISSF directly about IOC influence and they said IOC is not demanding any changes. I believe this is all internal. Now they may have tried to be coy and not admit to me that there is pressure, but it seemed pretty clear to me that this is all from with...

Of course the final was fired under the 2009-2012 rules, but I still have not seen an answer to the question of who was the better shooter on the day. Is that not what the tradition is? Now, is it reduced to a 3x10 rapid-fire/rapid-change event with a commentator chiding shooters for running behind ...
