Re: MONTHLY AP LEAGUE, February 2020
After “retiring” from shooting a while back due to health issues, I got myself much healthier, lost a bunch of weight, and in turn I got the itchy trigger finger again. Tired of cocking the FWB 90 between shots, so I picked up an old Walther CP1 in near-mint condition. Today was my first time shooti...

Re: Shoot the damn thing!
This forum is about information exchange and accepting that there are many ways of reaching a valid solution....sometimes not necessarily your own. You know, when I started this forum back in the late-20th century (it was air pistol specific then), I hoped that it would become a bridge, connecting ...

Re: 200 BAR to quick connect for Morini adapter ...
The RIGHT PUMP is the one that I have, which was free and still in the box. Any adapter that performs its function of coupling this pump to my Morini fill adapter—and is not unreasonably expensive—is the RIGHT ADAPTER. I don't really care about other available pumps that already have the correct cou...

Re: 200 BAR to quick connect for Morini adapter ...
Thanks for the lead on Precision Air Guns, I'll get in touch with him after this weekends "Snowpocalypse" is over ...
BTW: No such thing as "the wrong pump" y'all ... Just need the RIGHT ADAPTER.

Hmmmm, interesting thought. I'm not sure, but I'll check on that.David Levene wrote: ↑Fri Dec 07, 2018 1:23 am Isn't it possible to remove the hose and just screw the Morini adaptor straight into the pump?

200 BAR to quick connect for Morini adapter ...
I just got a manual pump to fill the Morini 162ei up, and the high pressure hose has a quick connect fitting. The Morini fill adapter looks to be a pretty standard 200 BAR male thread. So, if anyone has experience in sourcing such an item, point me in the direction of a 200 BAR to quick connect adap...

Re: FWB Model 2 tank filling
I almost bought a Mdl 2 in the past month that also had no adapter. I found one on eBay from a Canadian seller ... It might still be available.
No affiliation BTW, just trying to help.

+1 what David said.
I have my old pellet trap/target holder that I got from Don Nygord, mounted to a PA stand that I got at a lawn sale for $5. Totally stable, foldable tripod base that is infinitely height adjustable.

Looks good, glad you got the PHP debugged and all is well. It took me a LOT of coffee to migrate the forum back in the late-'90s ... Good to see it still live & kickin'!

Re: New unofficial world record in AP
I still feel that the old "qualifying score + 10 shot final" is the fairest method to the shooters ... But that, like Olympic Free Pistol, is now lost to history. Harrumph.

Yeah, I had one of those "sight lighters" years ago when I shot bullseye ... Are they actually illegal in the 'States? (Not that that would come as a surprise or anything ...)

Re: Free Pistol Shooting in the Upstate (SC)
So, I've been out to the Belton range a few times now, and it is a great place to shoot. I've got the preliminary OK from the Club Prez to hold an informal match there, with the 2nd Multiplex reserved for a few hours on a Saturday or Sunday morning. If anyone is in the Greenville SC area, shoots Fre...

It would be a shame if it was dropped from the Commonwealth Games, but hey ... That's progress. Or, something.

Re: Change of forum name?
What David said ... or Rover, I suppose. Actually, the latter is more likely than the former. But all kidding aside, there has never been a dropped shooting event that has returned in the history of the Olympic Games, to my knowledge. The graveyard includes 300m and 600m rifle events, Running Target...

Re: That black dot at 50m ....
Plus, at least in some electronic target systems (like Disag) you can choose training exercises where you get a smaller black target on-screen (without changing the paper target) and you get a point if you land your shot within it. That sounds pretty cool Ramon, do you shoot on a range with electro...
