Re: Interviews with pistol shooters by a pistol shooter
Love it! I started trying to do this waaaaay back when TargetTalk was part of my Air Pistol Home Page. Interviewed Don Nygord and got that one published to the site. Tried to interview Ragnar but that never got off the launch pad ... and had an interview with Don Hamilton that I subsequently lost in...

Well ... THAT was humbling.
My first standing position rifle score for record in over 30 years. As a former smallbore 3p and highpower competitor, I figured I would shoot in the low/mid-80s. The rifle itself is obviously not at fault: a mint-condition old FWB C60 that I picked up for a song recently, to use for testing the InB...

Re: MONTHLY AP LEAGUE, march 2020
Unfortunately, my 2nd score (from the 12th) is the final attempt I was able to complete this month. I was off to a great start on my 3rd attempt, but had to abort prior to finishing the first string. Hoping to get a weekly set of scores turned in for the month of April ... and many thanks again for ...

Re: 10m only soon?
Just saw this thread, but I think this is a translation and interpretation issue. Readers seem to be confusing “shall” with “can.” When using “can” here, the intention equates to: there is an option of. Some appear to be misconstruing its usage with that of, “shall,” a verb of the imperative mood. B...

Re: Introductions
Welcome to the TT forum. There are a lot of great folks on here; shooters in every discipline, and at practically every level from hobbyist to Olympian. The wealth of experience and depth of knowledge is pretty incredible also, and the “postals” are a welcome and enjoyable way to practice, and share...

Re: @ prowling about Inband Target System
Hi SeaMaster, Thanks for the interest in the InBand Electronic Scoring Target (EST) System. I'll go through your questions one by one, and answer them to the best of my ability at this time. Q: "What is the pellet hitting target sound like ? Like a duct seal sound or a metal hitting sound?"...

Re: MONTHLY AP LEAGUE, march 2020
Don't let this Covin-19 bug get you down. If your range is closed, shoot outdoors. I did today. I’m using the 10m air pistol/rifle target system and software that I am now representing in the USA. It’s been a pleasure to be at home, shooting in my 10m basement range, and it’s affordable fun and tra...

Re: MONTHLY AP LEAGUE, march 2020
My first string today for March Score v.3 was cruising along about as well as I ever could hope for (77/80 with 2X at just a skosh over a minute a shot average) ... then my wife hollered down into the basement that one of our dogs had escaped the compound and was on the loose. Abort. Harrumph. I’m g...

It’s called an “inner ten ring” ... or for those that prefer not typing that much to convey an otherwise universally understood term ... an X ring.

Well, fudge. Unfortunately I have had to change my plans, and will not be attending as previously planned.
I sincerely hope to make it to another showcase event in the future!

Re: MONTHLY AP LEAGUE, march 2020
Second attempt for March, might have to stick with this submission as this month’s “final answer” ... But I won’t, as I am enjoying the new (& old) setup too much! Getting the vintage K60 back up and running was a hoot, and it is SO much better for my needs and likes than the Walther was. It’s l...

Re: Villages Air Gun show March 28-29
Curious indeed! We’ll finally get a chance to meet in person ... only 20 years or so after first meeting on the old APHP Scoreboard. Looking forward to it Scott, as well as meeting a bunch of other folks, both attendees and vendors alike.

Re: MONTHLY AP LEAGUE, march 2020
First score for March. All things the same as last month, but will hopefully be using a different pistol as well as a new electronic target system on the home range by this time next week ... fingers crossed. 533-5x (91-88-89-87-90-88) Walther CP1 RWS Meisterkugeln Pistol ISSF rules Paper targets M/...

Electronic targets and lighting
I just shot in the South Carolina AP Sectional match at the Citadel yesterday, and it was my first time shooting a full match on an electronic target system. I believe it is a MegaLink operation, definitely not SIUS ... Anywho, I was REALLY glad that I had the clip-on iris shutter for my shooting gl...

Re: MONTHLY AP LEAGUE, February 2020
Take 2: Only a week from the Sectionals at the Citadel, lots of dry fire practice and stance refinement over the past week and a half. Seems to have yielded some improvement, but still struggling with maintaining focus ... the never-ending battle. 529 (89-87-90-*88-89-86) Walther CP1 RWS Meisterkuge...

Re: Pardini K60 cone seal replacement
Typical to drift pins from port to starboard, that’s how I removed them on the K60. The K2s may be different though, not sure.
BTW, 6string, are you shooting AP at the Citadel Sectional on the 29th?

Re: Pardini K60 cone seal replacement
The loading port pin has to be drifted out, and the loading port separated the bolt. Then remove the barrel set screw from the top of the receiver, and pull the barrel. The bolt assembly will slide right out at that point.
Just did this myself last week ...waiting on the seal kit to arrive.
