Re: 2016 Firecracker Results
Mike, There are two documents attached. The second one should have the rest of the results. They are broke down for relay one and two. The stock is closely related to that of the precise with the exception of the removable buttstock which make for easy change over in the 3 position finals. It also t...

2016 Firecracker Results
Hi all, Attached are the 2016 Firecracker Results. I thought you all might enjoy seeing them. I used the NEW Turbo V-2 American made 3 position smallbore rifle to win this competition. It was the first match for me with this rifle. It came to me tested and tuned which made it easy for me to post som...

Re: Turbo V-2 3P Rifle Experience
Nick, I'm not sure if you can answer this but how would you compare port location relative to, say a Walther kk300 or kk500?
Mark, I have held the Turbo up next to a kk300 and the port is considerably further back on the Turbo in comparison. The Turbo and the kk500 are pretty similar in that...

Re: Turbo V-2 3P Rifle Experience
Thanks! Weight is 5.8 kg depending on butt plate and Palm block. Balance is really good. Probably 55% front 45% back. With short tube 8" long and a 25" barrel .900 diameter. Barrel length and diameter are customizable as well.
Take care,
Nick

Re: Turbo V-2 3P Rifle Experience
What is the stock and the barrel and who hung the barrel? thanks
The stock is made by Turbo and is made especially for the 3 position shooters with the removal buttstocks that make switch over in the finals very easy and fast. The barrel is a Shilen barrel and install...

Re: Turbo V-2 3P Rifle Experience
Sadly, unless Turbo get a UK agent getting one over here would be difficult, probably prohibitively difficult. It would be much simpler to buy a Bleiker barrel/action for my Bleiker-compatible stock. As Bix 'n' Andy are Austrian, I thought a trigger might be feasible, but it appears to be a special ...

Re: Turbo V-2 3P Rifle Experience
I'm sure the Bix'n Andy could be put on an Anschutz. After all we put men on the moon. However, with the amount of resources that would be involved into replacing the Anschutz tigger and spending the $445 for the Bix'n Andy trigger itself, I think it would be more feasible to sell your Anschutz and ...

Re: Turbo V-2 3P Rifle Experience
The Bix'n Andy trigger is good! The Anschutz trigger is outdated in that when the sear conection is lost and the firing pin starts to move forward... The Anschutz trigger does not completely break free. The firing pin will drag against the portion of the trigger holding the firing pin to the rear. T...

Turbo V-2 3P Rifle Experience
My name is Nick Mowrer and I just wanted to take a minute here to share a little about my winning experience shooting the newly released Turbo V-2 3P rifle. I took this rifle to the "Firecracker", a NRA Conventional Prone Smallbore competition out at the NRA Whittington Center that's held ...

advantage arms vs marvel 1911 conversion kit
Just wanted to ask a question to those who might know. I want to get a 22lr conversion for my 1911 and I know the marvel shoots good but what about the advantage? Does anyone have ransom rest groups out of the advantage?
