Re: Rovers delights Pardini K58
Oh yes, my neighbor out scored me. We assumed I got a tank of "bad" air.[/quote] That must have been why my glasses were fogging up. ;-) I bought the toy new from Mr. Nygord. I was talking to him about the Daisy 747 and how I liked shooting it. He talked to me about seriously looking at th...

Re: Fas6004 vs IZH 46m
I agree with Spekter on the 747. It is a great starting air gun. If it breaks, it won't cost a lot to repair ( I have only had to replace the seals in it's 20+ years of service). When you feel it is time to move up to another pistol and your budget is up for it, go for it. For what it is worth, I st...

Re: and now testing loads for a B/E revolver
With WST, using the HBWC, start at 2.8 and end at 3.4 grains. Double ended WCs, start at 2.6 and work up to 3.4, looking at case extraction as the key for pressure. I seat either bullet flush with the case mouth and just use enought crimp to keep the bullet in the case. A seperate taper crimp die or...

M dies and Pistol brass
I have to agree with a lot of the previous post. Most bullet are now way to hard (in my opinion) for target velocities. But you add that with the thin wall of the 45 ACP and I don't see much case swaging happening. One thing about the M die and pistol brass is you have to make sure it is set properl...

SP problems
I was just wondering if you had changed ammo? My SP is ammo sensitive and likes the Euro ammo more than the US stuff. Load five rounds into the mag, then slide you index finger over the top round. If it comes out easy and the next round fails to move up, your magazine should be cleaned or you need t...

Pardini Feeding
I have had the same experience as Coastwatcher. I know that if I feel any resistance while loading the magazine, I will clean the mag of wax build up, then put a drop of oil on the nose portion of the mag and this helps up to a point. With that said, I will only use CCI in Practice. I have had no pr...

The Range I shoot at, has several rules to keep bullets from impacting in places they should not be. But we have added extra wood in some areas that can be easily changed out when needed. Tape the target to a piece of cardboard and hang the cardboard from the target carrier. This give enough space j...

K58 cleaning
I have a Pardini K58. I keep it boxed up when not in use. This year as well as last, it feels as if the trigger group is sluggish and sticky. Can I fix this problem myself or do I need to send it in?
