Re: 'Pain in the neck'
Question, do you have a little larger belly now? If you do, you have to arch you neck more now to get into position. Nope, in fact I've lost 45 pounds. An old neck injury started acting up for me, belly was part of the issue too but a good massage therapist and a chiropractor got the spine and muscl...

'Pain in the neck'
Can anyone help answer my question? When I was in high school I was on the rifle team. Later I also shot in a few high power NRA matches. Now 45+ years later (I'm 61), every time I participate in a club rifle match my prone scores are worse than my kneeling scores and when finished shooting I have t...

Re: service rifle shooting
Thanks for all the replies. Some more info on the league... The M1 league was started back in the late 50's early 60's (when returning GI's were familiar with the M1 from their service days) and a few years ago it was decided to add the AR's as a separate division because so many of the newer member...

service rifle shooting
Question came up at the club about our M1 league. Some want to participate using their M14/M1A's. We shoot at 50, 100, 150 1nd 200 yards. When early on it became clear that some members of the league did not want the M14 to shoot against their M1's claiming they were more accurate and it wouldn't be...

Re: Anschutz 8002 S2 Black Air
Our airgun league shoots bullseyes at 10M and silhouettes at 15M. The silhouettes we use are remotely reset by pulling the string and they are pushed back up. Sometimes the sil's are hit so hard they hit the reset bar and bounce back up resetting. The judge counts it as a hit, but it shows they have...

Re: Anschutz 8002 s2
Thanks. The reason I'm asking is a friend and I were shooting today at silhouettes at 15M and he said my rifle seems much louder than his RWS ( just sent to Joe Kornick (sp) and his is running at 550 fps) and it appeared mine was striking them much harder (chipping the paint from the steel more than...
