Here you go: http://www.formgriffe.de/en/ Hope this helps This Rink diagram can lead to some costly size mistaks. At least it did in my case. I dutifully measured across my knuckles and got 85mm as I though the instructions indicated. According to the information given I should take a small. That s...

Have you checked the OAL of the cases? I trim mine back .010 from MINIMUM length suggested. The case head-spaces on the rim so no harm no foul. I find that I have feed issues if the OAL exceeds 1.175". Nothing wrong with 1.170" or 1.165" to 1.175". I don't have to trim cases to ...

Wow. The safeties on both my 41's are so hard to move as to be completely useless. I couldn't accidentally engage one no matter what I did.

That's the perfect safety for a bullseye gun. Can't engage it even if you want to.

Maybe yours could be adjusted to act the same.

I sometimes shoot in a league where 6 shots per mag are required (goofy, but what can you do?). Get one of these? http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=378256403 Roger Yes, I have a 14-3 and yes revolvers are why they use 6-shot strings. For some reason they also like to have some tar...

For what it's worth: I have only been reloading for my 52 for a 6 months but I was able to go from unreliable to totally reliable feed based on OAL. I have 9 mags including 4 that I have modified to hold 6 rounds. For all my mags, an overall length of 1.170 or less allows flawless feed. Let that OAL...

Just a note... I am an advocate of the Pardini.. If the grip angle is objectionable to a shooter, Dick Horton makes a grip that coverts the Pardini to the 1911 angle. Jerry Jerry, I always learn from your posts and would be grateful to know what aspects of the Pardini you like and any weaknesses yo...

Two immediate reactions: 1. My fingers can hardly wait to try pulling back the slide with those new design "ears." 2. The guy in the video reminds me of a lifetime Buick salesman on his first attempt demo-ing a Lotus. re #1: it looks to me that the slide is actuated from in front of the t...

My take is a little different. I took my mdl 41 to Roddy Toyota for a similar issue. No mark on the barrel face YET because I never dry fire without some protection in the chamber, but I thought the firing pin was a little longer than it should be and even then I had some sporadic ignition issues. W...

[quote= My 3d printer cost a lot less than a CNC mill![/quote] 3d routers can be had, ready-made, very cheaply - a few hundred dollars for one with an envelope big enough for a pistol grip. It doesn't take a $35,000 machining center to cut some wood grips. Thousands and thousands of people in the US...

JamesH, I don't want to constantly be damping the enthusiasm for this project. I have thought quite a bit about this route. I really like this kind of work. In the diagram you posted, the destination CAD app is SolidWorks. While this app is arguably THE best mechanical design package and is rapidly ...

Re: 3d printed anatomical grips

It would be quite easy to 3d scan an existing grip, make adjustments to it with a 3d cad package and then print it out. . Boy, I laffed and laffed when I read that statement. I work with 3d CAD all the time, though I use it for CNC machining rather than 3d printing. It is not trivial at all to get ...

Were there some statistics that showed that "target" guns caused more injuries through accidental and negligent discharge because of light triggers or did they just decide that they were more dangerous?

Thanks,

... It is also unlikely that existing companies will want to go through the hoops for pistols they no longer make (like the S&W Model 52). Oh, come on. The beautiful, superbly made, fabulously-fun-to-shoot mdl 52, THAT WAS MADE IN MASSACHUSETTS, can't be bought there? What does this Gun Control...
