Bench rest buttplate for Anschutz 2013 Precise

Thinking of converting my Anschutz 2013 Precise stock to a benchrest gun for a few club matches and wonder if anyone make a benchrest type buttplate setup for that rifle and stock setup.

Thanks in advance

Take a look at this page - 2nd to last picture.

Also - I just use the rear hook with the end finger extended so that it is essentially a strait horizontal rod. Rides a bag just fine.

Why does the bull in prone have to be approached from the bottom ? Why not from 12 o'clock ?

Thanks DavePat, that is a great benchmark to compare. Thank you for sharing and good shooting. Q - how did you get the NRA conv prone targets on the scatt? I'd love to have those. Kind regards, Tony Tony - the NRA targets are in the latest version of the software that I just downloaded from the Sca...

Saw the SCATT article Ken, thanks! I will practice this once I get my position fixed and sorted out. What are good 10.0 and 10.5 numbers? Objectively, I presume mine are not. Any thoughts welcome. Kind regards, Tony Just for your reference - I shot the following session on my new Scatt system earli...

With the tunnel facing the target like you would use it - turn the ring on the far side of the tunnel clockwise. That will loosen things up and you will be able to rotate the cant adjustment. When you have the correct cant set, then turn the far end ring counter clockwise to tighten again. Hope this...

Great company, great service, terrible website. It's sad because they are losing business literally every day because of it. Champions Choice website is sooooo much easier to use.

Smallbore prone jacket recommendations ?

I'm getting ready to pick up a new shooting jacket and will be shooting small bore prone only. What jackets (ISSF and NRA) would you guys recommend. I won't be spending $ 1000 but could maybe spring for a KT prone jacket for around $ 700. Any other recommendations ?

Thanks in advance

I'm really appreciating all the input guys. It's very helpful. I had a feeling that I was overpowered scope wise with the T-36. My hold is pretty good but there is still so much wobble at that magnification that it becomes very distracting and tiring. Anybody want to trade a 20 or 25X scope for an a...

HPitts - What magnification do you set your scope at 50 yds ? At 100 yds ? My Weaver T-36 has a 1/8 MOA target dot which I like a lot but I think that maybe a 36X scope might be a little much.

What scope power for any sight 50 and 100 yd matches ?

I'm getting ready to shoot my 1st "any sight " match this weekend with my new gun. It will be at 50 and 100 yds. I'm curious as to what the big boys use as far as scope power if shooting scope for any sight matches. I have a 36X Weaver T-36 that I tried tonight. Results were good but the e...

Regarding the MEC sling - I noticed while looking thru a lot of different web sights that MEC actually has two different versions of their top of the line sling. One they list with (fiberglass) webbing and the other you can order with the part that connects to the rifle with (leather) webbing.
