Pistol Timer
Hi all - during this period of COVID enforced hibernation I've turned my attention to developing a wearable shooting timer for use in WA1500 / PPC1500 matches. More recently I've added support for Bullseye matches. The timer is a downloadable application for the Garmin Series for Fenix Smart Watches...

Re: Walther GSP Expert - Broken Cocking Grip
Thanks David - I never knew that even existed. The new ones on it's way from Germany already but as my old man said, you always need a spare so I'll look into getting the broken one repaired.

Re: Walther GSP Expert - Broken Cocking Grip
@rkamy - Thanks for the recommendation. I've been in contact with Judith who runs the shop and she'll be posting the new part down under when it arrives from Walther in the next day or two. She was very accomodating and updated the website to allow shipping for this part to Australia. Great to see g...

Re: Ruger Mark IV Target for 25 m Pistol (Sport Pistol)
Hi
I did the Volquartzen trigger job on my wife's Rugger 22/45. Be aware that the trigger weight may fall below legal limit. Hers is around 700grams. Not really an issue as she shoots for fun and doesn't enter competitions.

Walther GSP Expert - Broken Cocking Grip
Hi All, I broke my Cocking Grip on my .32Cal GSP Expert this past weekend (I can hear you laughing but yes, that's what it's called). CockingGrip_1.jpg CockingGrip2.jpg The local Aussie rep already has them on back order but they're not expected for another 3 months. As I'm sure you'll all agree, 3 ...

Re: 32cal Projectiles - Australia
Do a search for Southern Projectiles in Adelaide These are the best available in Aus, I have Peter's contact details. I think he has some experience on advising the best type for a GSP. There's also Bullzi - for a long time the only supplier of HBWC in Aus. Every bullet needs to be inspected for vo...

Re: 32cal Projectiles - Australia
You havn't told us what your load was nor what pistol ? Size, powder, dies etc..... .32 sw long is difficult round for accuracy, very loose spec's. My Blackwidow's are holding the 10 ring (30- 35mm outside to outside). Hi David, I'm shooting a Walther GSP Expert. Using Lapua Brass with 1.5gn WST and ...

32cal Projectiles - Australia
I'm looking for a new source of .32S&W projectiles in Australia. I had been using Black Widow HBWC but some recent testing in a Ransom Rest shows that they don't perform consistently in my firearm (GSP Expert). I've also noticed 4-5 grains variance between the lightest and the heaviest projectil...

Did you ever find the cause. I'm having the same problem complete with the little nicks on the case.

TAU-7 Fill Adapter
One of the guys in the club has come by a second hand TAU7. He's been filling from the 125g grey CO2 bottle but now the bottle is empty and there doesn't seem to be an adapter in the box to refill it. Can anyone tell me where he might be able to pick up a refill adapter? Ideally he'd like to refill ...

You could use something like this: http://www.bluewatersports.com/shop/compressor-regulator-1st-stage-adapter-300-to-232-din.html Remember that the bottle is still 300Bar and the air pistol will most likely max out at 200 so you'll need to pay careful attention that you don't over pressurise the air...

Ok, I put some dive grease on the thread and tried again without success. If anything it's getting worse. I also noticed that it is getting harder to thread the cylinder onto the fill adapter as well which would seem to indicate that maybe it's a cylinder problem. I hope so - it should be easy to fi...

Thanks Dave, I'll give that a try but I'm not sure it will help as when the cylinder is empty it screws on and off quite easily. I suspect that somehow pressurised air is getting into the space between the cylinder recess and the threaded shaft that the cylinder screws onto. As a result of this high...

Walther LP400 Air Cylinder Tight
I have been experiencing problems recently when screwing on or off the air cylinder on my LP400. It is extremely difficult to screw the cylinder all the way on when the air cylinder is full. The initial few screw threads are ok but it becomes extremely difficult to turn the cylinder once it mates wi...
