CBC1 Show On Gender In Sport
Interesting program on this morning. One issues raised as to some sports is that women can compete with men and even beat them in some disciplines. Ski jumping and shooting were specifically discussed. One of the things mentioned was that some sports federations have slightly different rules for men...

Re: Training Facilities for Air Pistol & Air Rifle Northern
Target Shooting Canada has run postal for all Olympic shooting disciplines for quite a while. Patrick who ran the site was appointed as a national coach and the site doesn't seem to be maintained as well as it was previously. The postal link there doesn't seem to work. I'll follow up with that later...

Re: Training Facilities for Air Pistol & Air Rifle Northern
Thanks very much. I'll email you in a moment. One other question. Do they also do any air pistol postal matches? I live in Plattsburgh NY (yes that two hours from you I am guessing) we run both smallbore and air rifle matches at my club and would love to have you join us. However I know Northfield V...

Training Facilities for Air Pistol & Air Rifle Northern NE
I've relocated and am living in the Northeast Kingdom area of Vermont. I'm a two hour drive from Burlington and Montreal. I belong to the Caledonia club near St. Johnsbury, VT for firearms use. Does anyone know of any air programs or air friendly indoor ranges in my area. USA Shooting has be very ni...

shaky, My first thoughts were that yes, sure you can do that, and while you are not my intended user of the programs, it’s a risk I take. But the more I have thought about it all, technically, based on what you’ve said about your scores, you are the exactly the competitor who should be getting the ...

Re: Larrys guns.watch out-check dates on cylinders
I just bought a benelli kite from Larrys guns a few weeks ago. First when there is a problem you never talk to Larry-He is always away or whatever. The gun was supposedly new but the cylinder dates are 2009-2019 and 2012- 2022. Why wouldn't I get new or current ones. Well I still have not talked to...

There has been some discussion on this subject before. Many found that the strike of the pellet on their backstop is much louder than the gunshot. Combine the two and it can be pretty noisy. For max quiet, a box of rags is best. Also, the higher the power is set at the louder the noise. I certainly...

I have owned an IZH-46m, for over a decade, (still own) and have always been happy. IMHO, the IZH-46m is equal to almost all AP tasks. If you need up-graded grips contact RINK. FWIW if one needs/chooses a PCP- I have shot the Benelli Kite, the Steyr LP-10, and the Pardini K12- all during competitio...

Re: Coaching In or Near Vermont for Air Pistol
I would even be willing to make the two hour drive to Montreal for coaching. Any ideas folks. Thanks. The Quebec Shooting Federation recently opened up a 10M shooting range in Montreal... Maybe you should give them a shout and see what kind of coaching they can offer. https://www.fqtir.qc.ca/salled...

Re: air pistol competition
Hi Brian, There are many people out there that have Olympic/International shooting in their past. I am in central NH, so I am to far for travel. I do not want to open forum actual names. But I could get you in touch with them, or the groups that are still doing International air rifle and/or pistol...

Of course it's a matter of taste and perception, but from my perspective the choice of black for the shirt might be slightly on the heavy metal side of things for what you're after. Might I suggest a sort of creamy off-white? And the text and Buddha in a very non-controversial brown? Green on black...

As one who shoots firearms and practices Kyudo, Japanese Zen archery, I appreciate your efforts. I would love one if they become available. Questions; will the green ink show up well enough on black ? And will they be available for purchase ? Thanks again for effort, Dr. Lee I think so. When I orde...

Tired of Explaining.....
....why I shoot to those who either do not shoot and/or are hostile to shooting/guns. So I was playing around on the Cafe Press web site with making a tee shirt that reads on the front and back "Shooting, Archery, Zen" with a seated Buddha below the words. Thoughts, additions? I will have ...

Get back to us when you average 585 or better. Dr. If that were the standard, this might be a very lonely forum. lol Good shooting, B It´s not the standard for shooting, but it is the standard for being picky with your pellets! Long story short: If you must test them for peace of mind do so, but It...

Re: Pellet Weight Question
Pellet weights for pistol clearly vary by manufacturer. For example Vogel 8.1gr RWS 7.0gr H&N 7.5gr Is there a real or theoretical reason for this? Will some brands of air pistol prefer different weights. Just wondering......I miss regardless of the weight. Good shooting, Brian Hi Brian, in add...
