I am not a gunsmith or a mechanical engineer.
What would happen if you beefed up the design of an FWB AW93 for .45ACP. Probably would add some thickness and weight but for shooting, I love that gun.

New Custom Grips on AW93
Just wanted to post a picture of my new grips for the AW93. They were made by a forum member (Dick Horton) based on photocopies of my hand. Price was much less than Rink or Nill and turn around time was less than 3 weeks! Plus, he was able to notch out the Brenzovich mount and offered great communic...

I have a frame mount on my 45 with a C-More slide ride on it. I do want to switch to an Ultra Dot on that. Anyway, I agree a slide racker is needed but make sure it is easy to remove or one sided as it may get in the way if you need to take off the slide. I have always been concerned with slide moun...

Not trying to sound like a snob, but you do get what you pay for in optics. I would avoid NCStar. I have heard mixed things about the TruGlow, but they are very heavy. I would be more inclined for the Bushnell TRS at just under $100. I liked that one as it was 3 MOA Dot, a nice size, decent weight, ...

I would avoid a High Standard. The CT versions are wonderful guns but they have no feed ramp and are magazine dependent. Finding properly feeding magazines, IMO, is very difficult. Even with the alignment tools available, I have issues getting reliability. Also, quality parts are getting harder and ...

I believe "XP-Mode" is an add on to Windows 7, I do not think a rebuild is required. See http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtua ... nload.aspx
Looks like it is basically, an XP VM.

Northern Virginia BE Coach?
All, I am new to competition and have started with NRA 900. I am practicing a lot (range at least 3 times a week) but would love to take some lessons or get a coach to make my practice time effective. NoVA seems to be a tactical gunners dream, but no one shoots .22 BE for instruction. Any recommenda...
