Scores are due today

Cold damp weather in New England - great for a quick postal match. Info at: http://www.airguninfo.com/matchinfo.htm

This is also a great match for young shooters - with categories for juniors etc.

40 years Fred

Fred, that was 40 years ago. In the 60s it was 360 to 400 Yen to the dollar. A hundred yen had the local purchasing power of a dollar. Life was good.

I know this will sound silly, but - did you cock it before you screwed the tank on? Do not ask how any of us might know of this little secret!

Need young shooters for a bi-weekly match

I have added NRA competitor categories to the AGI 20/20 match. So far I have two committed sub-junior shooters and would sure like to get a few more - more in all the categories. This is a chance for bi-weekly postal competitions for the youngsters. Get them interested at a young age. It is a short ...

Sub junior competitors needed

I have at least one sub junior AP competitor for the 20/20 AP matches. It would be nice if there were more, then I could actually create a section of the match just for them. Great way to encourage the kids and start them into a light competition. Take a look at http://www.airguninfo.com/matchinfo.htm

That is correct - shoot in august for the August match. A few days grace is given for reporting the scores.

Izzy goes to Africa on a Safari

My thoughts are to spend $500 on a used 300. There are plenty of them around at that price and they were meant to be a rifle. With a fancy stock like above, you're going to spend that anyway - and it will still be a 10-meter air pistol. No matter what clothing you put on it, that Izzy still won't ki...

Shooters needed for postal matches

Fall is nearly here, so it is time to start shooting in the bi-weekly and monthly postal matches at http://www.airguninfo.com/matchinfo.htm

These are easy to shoot matches that provide you with a means of tracking your progress. No prizes, no charges - just friendly competition.

Give it a try.

This is the match season - so there is lots of travel

Additionally, with the Olympics coming in a few days - there should be interesting experiences. Sadly, when dealing with TSA, there is little consistency from airport to airport and even agent to agent. There is no sense trying to fight them - they are the government and they will win. Hope there wi...

DO NOT USE MUD FLAPS

Truck mud flaps are made of rubber and can bounce pellets right back to their source. I know this for a fact - I have experienced it. DO NOT USE MUD FLAPS AS A BACK STOP!

postal matches

Just for general information, I checked those postal matches listed at Airguninfo.com for ISSF style shooting: The biweekly 20/20 is alive and well. The 60/60 monthly is alive and well. The H&H requires a $20 fee and there is no means of email contact or score results on line. American Vintage -...

Librarians are well educated, well read, capable people. Personally, I see nothing distasteful about being called a librarian. Now being called a ruffian might concern me.

AP does not require a fancy range

Form your own club and rent/borrow/build a range - perhaps inside of a leased metal building, warehouse, garage or other unused commercial building. A safe AP range is not rocket science to build and it need not break the bank either. I have seen them set in school classrooms. Although I shoot powde...
