wow, good luck with that. Hopefully next time will be more of an "on" day for ya.

* i'm glad that you are consistent in your eating. I know a few junior shooters who chomp down pizza just before matches sometimes, and their scores certainly reflect it.

personally i take off the butthook, turn the plate upside down, cant, then stick it close to my neck. wow, i thought i was the only one who turned the plate upside down. haha, i guess i'm not so unique after all. wow, i wish i was familiar with that... Would've saved me money when i had to fly to the other coast for a match.

you might try and check the list of discounts that NRA members get from various companies. click here for the list i found. (may or may not be helpful)

Are you shooting a lot of competitions? I really feel that competing (at first on a state, then national level) gets everyone fired-up. It's a lot of work traveling around with 8 or 10 competitors, but really makes the training worthwhile for the students. Jay V Competitions are what made me stick ...

Hah, no kidding. I had ZERO results from google, yahoo, altavista, and lycos, when i searched "hammerli 180D". I would suggest trying to find a different rifle.

That link is to the brenzovich site, which has all the Hammerli rifles + pistols on that page (just scroll down). I couldn't get anything on a "180D"
