USA SHOOTING ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP TRANSITION: WELCOMES KELLY REISDORF AS INTERIM CEO
Colorado Springs, CO — Mar 22, 2024 — The USA Shooting Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Kelly Reisdorf as the new interim Chief Executive Officer of USA Shooting, effective March 22, 2024, following the resignation of Craig Kozeniesky.

“On behalf of the board, we extend our deepest gratitude to Craig for his dedicated service and commitment to the organization and athlete community,” said Jim Mitchell, Chairman of the USA Shooting Board of Directors. “We wish him well in his future endeavors.”

As interim CEO, Kelly is committed to building upon the legacy of USA Shooting, focusing on enhancing the performance and well-being of our athletes, and strengthening the community that supports them. Under her leadership, USA Shooting aims to refine its strategic direction, bolster its competitive edge, and reinforce its commitment to excellence in the sport of shooting. Most importantly, Kelly will ensure continued focus and support of our athletes on the road to Paris and beyond.

“Kelly Reisdorf’s appointment comes at a crucial time for USA Shooting as we navigate through a period of transformation and growth,” said Mitchell. “We are confident that Kelly’s leadership will guide our organization with a steady hand and an innovative spirit, ensuring our athletes continue to excel on the world stage.”

Kelly brings a wealth of business and industry experience, as well as a fresh perspective to USA Shooting. With a proven track record of leadership and innovation, Kelly has demonstrated a unique ability to drive strategic initiatives, foster team cohesion, and achieve substantial results. Her non-traditional background, combining experience in multiple P&L turnarounds, and expertise in technology, brand building, and strategic marketing, aligns with the Board’s vision for a revitalized and forward-thinking approach to leading USA Shooting into its next chapter.

“I am deeply honored to join the USA Shooting family and to contribute to the rich tradition of excellence that defines this organization,” said Reisdorf. “I am eager to collaborate with our talented athletes, dedicated staff, and passionate supporters as we work together to elevate our performance and achieve new milestones.”

USA Shooting is committed to transparency and inclusivity as the Board develops a comprehensive search process for a permanent CEO.
